A Christmas pop-up shop for an Indiana nonprofit, from storefront to the owner's one-tap fulfillment app.
A short season, a real store
Without Walls Ministry of Hope, Deliverance, and Salvation serves the homeless in Lafayette, Indiana. To fund that work, the ministry sells heirloom nutcrackers, fresh wreaths, and pre-lit trees each holiday season. They needed an online shop that could open in weeks, take orders without a card processor, and be run by one person from a phone.

The challenge
Seasonal inventory, a tight window through December 24, and no staff for e-commerce. The shop had to look like a boutique, not a fundraiser page, and checkout had to work even before a payment processor was in place. Most of all, the owner needed to see orders, confirm payment, and mark items shipped without learning a back office.

Products, categories, cart, and checkout come from Odoo, so inventory, orders, and customers live in one system the ministry already uses. - A custom seasonal theme

We enabled a pay-at-pickup provider so checkout worked immediately; card payments can be switched on the moment the ministry chooses a processor. - The owner's orders app
A PIN-protected app at orders.wowmh.org shows every order, lets the owner confirm payment, and marks an order shipped with one tap, from a phone. - Newsletter and follow-up
A 'first word on new arrivals' signup captures shoppers for next season.
