What does a custom AI application cost?+
Development is $125/hr ($95/hr for nonprofits and veteran organizations), but you never get an open-ended hourly bill. We break the build into phases and quote each one as a fixed price. Most first phases land between 40 and 120 hours, which is $5,000 to $15,000 at the standard rate, and you get a fixed number before any work starts. Payment is 50% to start a phase and 50% when you accept it. Anything you add mid-phase is a change order, billed hourly, and you approve it first.
Who owns the code and the data?+
You do. Once a phase is paid in full, the platform is yours: code, design, content and data. If you ever want the source, we hand it over on request at no charge. We do not lock you into our hosting to keep access to your own product.
Where is it hosted, and what does that cost?+
We host and support the platforms we build. Essential is $149/mo ($1,490/yr) and Standard is $299/mo ($2,990/yr); nonprofits pay $199/mo. Hosting covers the servers, updates, monitoring and fixes. You can also take the code and host it yourself.
How long until we have something working?+
The first phase is scoped to put a working version in your hands in weeks, not months: the smallest version that does the job end to end. Later phases add to something you are already using, so you are never waiting a year to find out whether it works.
Can it connect to the tools we already use?+
Usually, yes. Our own products connect to Odoo for CRM and ERP, Twilio for phone and SMS, and Plaid for read-only bank data. On the scoping call we list what you run today and tell you plainly which connections are simple and which are real work.
Who are we working with?+
Junious Digital Labs is a veteran-owned company (Army National Guard), based in Lafayette, Indiana and serving businesses across the US remotely. You talk to the people building your application, not an account manager.
