Common questions
What is the difference between the two options?
Both get the same custom website, up to 7 pages. The Managed Website is $295 a month with $0 upfront and a 12-month minimum: we build it, host it, keep it secure and make up to 1 hour of edits a month. Own It is $2,950 one-time: you own the site from launch, get 3 months of Website Care Plus, and then choose a care plan or none.
Can I cancel the Managed Website plan?
Yes, after the first 12 months, anytime. If you want to keep the site when you cancel, the buy-out is $2,950 minus 50% of the subscription fees you have paid, never less than $0. For example, after 12 months ($3,540 paid) the buy-out is $1,180.
What happens after the 3 included months on Own It?
You choose Website Care Basic ($79 a month or $790 a year: hosting, SSL, daily backups, security updates and uptime monitoring), Website Care Plus ($149 a month or $1,490 a year: Basic plus up to 1 hour of edits a month, priority support and a monthly speed and SEO check), or no plan. It is your site either way: with no plan, we export everything so you can take it with you.
What do I need to get started?
Your logo, a few photos, your hours, services and prices (rough notes are fine). If you own a domain, tell us where it is registered. If you do not, we set one up for you.
How long does it take?
Two weeks from the day we have your photos and details.
Is sales tax added?
Prices are plus applicable sales tax (Washington 9.9%), shown at checkout before you pay.
Do veterans or nonprofits get a discount?
Veterans and veteran-owned businesses get 15% off project work, including the Own It build (not subscriptions or care plans). We verify eligibility first on our discount verification page.
